Yoga on the Beam (Beam Yoga)like Pilates, specifically focuses on building core strength. It is very effective at improving balance and toning the stomach, hips and legs.
Yoga on the Mat (Hatha Yoga) enables the body to stretch dynamically. Each set of postures (asanas) build into a flow sequence (vinyasa) to exercise the heart.
Feedback from class members who have followed the Beam Yoga Programmes has been excellent.
